Maintenance Supervisor
Duties:
- Oversee and coordinate the maintenance activities of a team of technicians
- Develop and implement maintenance procedures and schedules
- Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety standards
- Assign tasks and provide guidance to technicians to ensure timely completion of work orders
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, and perform repairs as necessary
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed and parts used
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize downtime
- Monitor inventory levels of spare parts and equipment, and order supplies as needed
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a maintenance role, preferably in a supervisory capacity
- Strong mechanical knowledge and experience with a variety of equipment, including but not limited to:
- Suspend systems
- Service technician tools
- Brake repair and air brake systems
- Shocks and struts replacement
- Caterpillar engines or similar heavy machinery engines
- Electrical systems troubleshooting and repair
- Wheel alignment procedures
- Proven ability to lead a team and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
