• Interacting with, and getting to know our customers
• Scanning items quickly and correctly
• Operating the register or monitor self-checkout accepting various forms of payment 
• Verifying customer identification for liquor and tobacco purchases 
• Bagging customers’ items with care
• Observing and reporting shoplifters

What you need to succeed

• Basic computer and math skills 
• Flexibility to work a part-time schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays
• Prompt and regular attendance based on your schedule
• Adherence to our dress code, appearance and personal hygiene standards
• May be cross-trained in other departments 

Physical Requirements

• Lifting & Carrying - Up to 40 lbs. occasionally & up to 10 lbs. frequently
• Pushing & Pulling- Up to 30 lbs. force occasionally
• Occasional - Sit, kneel, stoop, squat, & overhead reach
• Frequent - Head turn, trunk bend, side reach, grasp, power grip, pinch, finger manipulation, & feel
• Constant - Stand, handling, & forward reach
