Position: Library Paraprofessional
Location: Prairie Rose Elementary
Salary: $15.35-$17.66 per hour depending on experience.
Hours: 7 - 8 hours per day depending on position / 35 - 40 hours per week/ 9 months per year

Duties & Requirements: Background and reference checks are required. Must be a team member. The minimum equivalent of a high school diploma required. Assists students in the library. Maintains, organizes library materials. Other duties as needed and assigned.
Additional Requirements: For classroom paraprofessional positions at Prairie Rose Elementary, candidates must obtain a paraprofessional certificate before the first day of employment. To qualify for the North Dakota Paraprofessional Certificate, the candidate must have 48 semester credits from an accredited college or university OR must take the ParaPro test and submit passing scores and high school diploma or equivalent to obtain the certificate. The ParaPro test will be available to take after August 1 through the Adult Learning Center. The candidate will be responsible for any test fees to earn the certificate.
Applicants who are residents of ND and eligible to claim veteran's preference must upload a Form DD214. Claims for disabled veteran's preference must include a current statement of disabled status from the Veterans Affairs Office.
