We utilize top of the line equipment and expert staff with exceptional standards of care. Embedded within our network of affiliated OBGYN provider practices, this offers patients an intimate and familiar in-office environment, offering a convenient one stop solution for well-women visits and annual screening mammograms.

Unified Mammography Services is seeking a Part-Time Float Mammography Technologist for its Mammography offices at an affiliated practices in Silver Spring, MD.

The Mammography Technologist is a Radiologic Technologist who performs Mammography procedures at a clinical and technical level not requiring constant supervision. The Mammography Technologist administers ionizing radiation to aid in the detection and diagnosis of breast disease through 2D/3D imaging exams. The Mammographer ensures a high level of quality and service is delivered to all organizational customers. When not performing mammography exams, the technologist will assist the operations manager with quality requirements and general administrative duties to complete patient care.

Guaranteed one day a week and coverage as needed to float between the two locations.

1400 Forest Glen Rd. Suite 250 Silver Spring, MD 20910 Office Hours: Monday -Thursday 8 am to 5 pm and Friday 8 am to 4 pm

2101 Medical Park Dr. Suite E200 Silver Spring, MD 20902 Office Hours: Monday- Friday 8 am to 5 pm

Responsibilities:

Perform Mammography Imaging and Quality Control
Complete Patient Information Requirements and Paperwork
Converse with Radiologist about Mammographic Exams
Support Manager with MQSA and ACR Requirements
Administrative Work to Complete Exams for Interpretation

Additional Job Functions:

All other job requests as assigned by Mammography Operations Manager, Director of Imaging Operations, or Care Center Administrator

Qualifications:

ARRT Registration R.T.(R) Required
ARRT Certification in the Registration of Mammography (M) Required
Minimum Two Years' Experience in a Mammography Position Preferred
State Department of Radiation Control License as Required by Location of Practice
