This position will be responsible for assisting the Property Manager with day-to-day leasing and administrative duties. The ideal candidate will have a background in property management and leasing. Essential Job Functions:
Manage and assist in the leasing process with new tenants

• Assist with new tenant information gathering and documentation
• Assist new tenants with questions and/or concerns
• Process applications and renewals
• Assist in the collection of rent, late payments, and other charges
• Assist in tenant walkthroughs and inspections
• Perform walkthroughs with residents prior to move-in and every month thereafter
• Maintain contact with tenants, resolve problems, and provide information as needed.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience in property management preferred. Knowledge of basic property management procedures. Knowledge of leasing practices and sales procedures. Knowledge of basic office equipment (telephones, copiers, etc.)and computer skills required. Must be able to pass a background check.

• Must be able to work independently with little supervision. Ability to prioritize tasks effectively while multitasking between tasks. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively with colleagues, residents, residents’ families, residents’ friends, etc.
