Diamond Adult & Senior Concierge (DASC) is licensed home care agency (#194700803) that arranges for temporary relief, personal services, supervision, protection and/or assistance essential for sustaining the activities of daily living on less than a 24-hour basis to children, adults, seniors and elderly that have developmental disabilities.
***Position pays $17.50 an hour***
PLEASE READ JOB DESCRIPTION TO ENSURE YOU ARE ABLE TO PERFORM THE DUTIES OF THIS POSITION
Shifts Available:
Monday thru Friday - 7am to 1:30pm
Sat & Sun - 7am to 3pm
Saturday and Sunday - 3pm to 11pm
Responsibilities (may vary on case-by-case basis)
Arrive to and from the client’s residence in a timely manner
Personal Care: not limited to bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, walking and specialty care and safety care/monitoring
Companion Care: provide company, socialization and/or conversation
Protective Supervision: provide safety to prevent falls and/or remove hazards to prevent harm
Meal Planning and Preparation: preparing prepacked meals, cooking, feeding and clean up
Light Housekeeping: not limited to mopping, sweeping, dusting, vacuuming, disinfecting surfaces, taking out the trash and laundry
Errand Services: not limited to grocery shopping, pick up prescriptions, dry clean drop off/pickup, laundry, making telephone calls and setting up appointments
Limited Medication Assistance: no administering of medication, but may help otherwise
Transferring/Ambulating/Positioning: assist client with moving from one position to the another, move in/out of bed and transfer from bed/chair/walker/wheelchair (120 pounds)
Notify DASC immediately of any changes in mental/physical health of the client, or change in conditions within the home environment or in the event of any injury
Maintain proper documentation and follow specific instructions pertaining to client’s health (medication reminders, doctor’s appointments, dietary needs, activities throughout the day)
Provides encouragement and praise to support positive behavior
Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years of age High school diploma or GED
Valid CPR and First Aid Certification (must be obtained within 30 days after hire) Valid identification Must pass DOJ/FBI background check COVID-19 vaccination requirements will not be enforced after 04/03/2023 Negative TB dated within the past two (2) years
