If you love being a nurse and an educator, you will love to work as a Home Dialysis Nurse.
The home dialysis nurse trains and educates patients in a clinic setting (not the patient's home), providing patients with the capability to complete their treatments in their own home. You engage with patients on a daily basis to provide on-going care and support for their home therapy. Nursing hours are typically a Monday-Friday schedule.
As a home dialysis nurse, you will be an important part of our interdisciplinary team working to provide comprehensive patient care. The home nurse not only trains patients on how to complete their therapy at home but how to troubleshoot treatment issues that may come up, giving patients confidence and independence for their home dialysis. In addition to training patients and providing on-going support the home dialysis nurse educates prospective patients, assists with patient's monthly clinic appointments, and collaborates with our physician partners.
