The Mental Health Counselor will evaluate patients via in-office consultations and/or video teleconference and can choose his or her preferred patient demographics (adults/adolescents/children as young as six/mental health/substance abuse/dual-diagnosis). (Sign on bonus is an option per weekend scheduling agreement.)Duties/Responsibilities for the Mental Health Counselor:

• Analyze patient data and examine findings to diagnose nature and extent of behavioral health or substance use disorder(s)
• Direct treatments and collaborate with other providers to design individualized treatment plans
• Gather and maintain patient information and records, including social and medical history obtained via self-report
• Review treatment procedures and outcomes of other counselors
• Prepare and submit assessments, progress notes, reports and summaries through our electronic health records (EHR) system
• Perform direct services/consultations via telephone in the event that teleconferencing equipment is temporarily inoperable
• Follow company policies and procedures for the patient’s safety

Mental Health Counselors Required Training:

• Successful completion of Counseling certification or licensure
• Successful completion of continuing education

Mental Health Counselor Requirements:

• A degree from an accredited program specializing in a Psychology or Counseling
• A certificate or license to practice as a Counselor (LCSW, CSW, MFTA, LPCC, LPCA, LMFT, or similar) You must have the certification, we can not hire MSW or MSSW.

Experience:

• 1 year of counseling (preferred)

Their goal is to ensure they help the Mental Health Counselor in any way to help maintain the patient base you are seeking.Branding, Marketing, Outreach — We're great at getting patients. We're highly skilled and experienced in all online modalities (geofencing, IP targeting, GoogleAds, SEO, etc.). We also really enjoy making real-life connections with synergistic companies in order to acquire patients.
