POSITION SUMMARY:

The Multimedia Specialist is dedicated to Communication and will play a key role in enhancing organizational communication through engaging and dynamic multimedia content. Leveraging their expertise in multimedia production, they will contribute to fostering an inclusive and informed workplace culture. This position involves collaborating with various departments to create content that aligns with the organization's communication strategy.

POSITION EDUCATION/ QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Multimedia Design, Graphic Design, Communication, or a related field. (preferred)
• Bilingual (preferred)
• Ability to effectively prioritize, multi-task and work on multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
• Ability to work both independently, and with a highly connected team
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Proven experience in multimedia content creation, including video editing and graphic design.
• Proficiency in multimedia software tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop), Final Cut Pro, etc.
• Strong understanding of internal communication strategies and digital communication platforms.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITES:

• Multimedia Content Creation:

• Develop visually appealing and engaging multimedia content for internal communication purposes, including videos, infographics, animations, and presentations.

• Digital Communication Platforms:

• Manage and enhance digital communication platforms, ensuring a seamless and visually appealing experience for employees. This includes intranet, email newsletters, and other internal communication channels.

• Storytelling through Visuals:

• Transform complex information and messages into visually compelling and easy-to-understand stories, aligning with the organization's key messages and values.

• Live Event Coverage:

• Provide multimedia coverage for live events, town halls, and internal conferences. This includes capturing, editing, and sharing content in real-time to enhance engagement.

• Brand Consistency:

• Ensure consistency in visual elements and branding across all internal communication materials, adhering to established brand guidelines.

• Employee Training Support:

• Collaborate with the Learning and Development team to create multimedia training materials, facilitating effective and engaging learning experiences for employees.

• Data Visualization:

• Present data and information in visually appealing ways, utilizing charts, graphs, and other visual aids to enhance understanding and engagement.

• Adapt to Emerging Trends:

• Stay informed about the latest multimedia trends and technologies, incorporating innovative approaches to communication strategies.

• Collaboration:

• Work closely with the director of the department to understand communication needs and translate them into multimedia content that effectively communicates messages to employees.

• Excellent project management and collaboration skills.

• Ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
