A Week in the Life of a Technical Writer II:

• Determine the applicability of technical data
• Perform the mass import of data and linking of maintenance performers to tasks/test questions and training tools.
• Determine the composition of databases for different Aviation Maintenance activities.
• Collect data relating to specific aircraft platforms, Fleet and schoolhouse course/test data
• Perform Data input and analysis actions required maintaining currency and accuracy of databases
• Modify and Correct Task Lists, Question Banks, Accreditations, Routing Templates, Duties/Billets, References, Lectures, Matrices and their Front/Back Matter areas, Qualification Type settings, Naval Aviation Maintenance Program settings and Keywords.
• Review Government Furnished Materials for completeness & accuracy

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Active Secret clearance

At least 6 years of experience in:

• Technical Writing in a DOD environment
