LinQuest is seeking a Logistics / Mobility Planner Subject Matter Expert (SME), to support the Secretary of the Air Force/ Studies and Analysis client site in the Pentagon.
The Mobility Planner Subject Matter Expert (SME) is a full-time position, responsible for developing scenarios, supporting studies, and framing analytical questions that provide context, purpose, and analytical rigor in support of client-directed studies. The SME will support multiple studies for various clients and make recommendations regarding the military utility, feasibility, and affordability of the concepts and capabilities under study. The SME will be expected to lead and supervise teams and analysts as required.
The Mobility Planner SME will support the analysis of strategic deployment activities of military, federal governmental, or commercial systems to obtain a rational basis for decision-making through the application of qualitative and quantitative analyses and participate in planning, scheduling, and coordinating selected analytical process phases.
Responsibilities:

• Assist in devising modeling, measuring, and process improvement techniques that incorporate strategic concepts in conjunction with quantitative methods to provide meaningful results to Department of Defense, federal government, and commercial clients.
• Guide the successful completion of major studies, programs, and analytical efforts, and may function in a project leadership role.
• Develop solutions to complex problems that require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity. Work will be performed without appreciable direction.
• Exercise considerable latitude in determining objectives that will be supported with both qualitative and quantitative analyses.

Required Skill and Experience:

• Master's Degree
• Extensive DoD and US Army logistics experience and expertise (10 years required; 15 years preferred)
• Extensive knowledge and understanding on strategic deployment, Time Phased Forced Deployment Data, and the Analysis for Mobility Platform (AMP).
• Ability to lead and mentor teams to ensure modeling, analysis, and business process improvement efforts are valid and defensible and appropriately address client requirements.
• Ability to coordinate with and brief senior DoD leadership and decision makers to identify and solve a variety of logistics problems. Must be able to clarify operational, analytical, and/or managerial objectives.
• Ability to manage the demands of multiple projects concurrently.
• Familiarity with DoD logistics and sustainment processes, procedures, and systems.
• Ability to lead and mentor teams to ensure modeling, analysis, and business process improvement efforts are valid and defensible and appropriately address client requirements.
• TS/SCI with the ability to be read into Special Access Programs (SAP)

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Graduate degree in logistics/supply chain management or business management.
• TRANSCOM experience.
• Acquisition and/or Life Cycle Logistics Certifications or experience.
• Demonstrated ability of conducting research studies and analyses.
• Knowledge and experience with DoD logistics and sustainment processes, procedures, and systems
• Knowledge and experience working in Air Force A9
• Knowledge and experience in Air Force weapon systems and equipment deployment and sustainment processes across multiple echelons involving multiple classes of supply.
