Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in auto body repair and refinishing.
• Proficiency in dent repair, frame straightening, and panel replacement as well as light mechanical work, such as radiator and suspension parts replacements.
• Demonstrated experience in using various auto body repair tools and equipment.

Skills:

• Proficient in performing precise measurements and calculations for accurate repairs.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality repair standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality workmanship.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot repair issues independently.

Knowledge:

• Comprehensive understanding of auto body materials, including metals, plastics, and fiberglass.
• Familiarity with different paint application techniques.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols related to auto body repair and refinishing.
• Understanding of vehicle structures and mechanical systems.

Certifications:

• Certification from a reputable auto body repair training program is highly desirable.
• I-CAR certification in collision repair or refinishing is a plus.

• Availability:
• Must be available to work Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
• Flexibility for occasional overtime may be required based on business needs.

Team Collaboration:

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with other technicians, painters, and administrative staff.
• Willingness to share expertise and provide guidance to less experienced team members.

Customer Service:

• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers.
• Dedication to providing exceptional customer service by addressing client concerns and ensuring satisfaction with repair work.

Adaptability:

• Willingness to adapt to new technologies, techniques, and industry trends.
• Ability to quickly learn and implement new repair methods and procedures.

Physical Requirements:

• Capable of lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods.
• Able to work in various positions, including bending, stooping, and kneeling, as required for repair tasks.

Driving Record:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
