Pipe Fitter Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Pipe Fitter to join our team. As a Pipe Fitter, you will be responsible for measuring, cutting, threading and bending pipes, fittings and assembling pipes various joining methods. Your role will involve interpreting blueprints and pipe fitting symbols, operating welding equipment, and ensuring the quality and accuracy of the finished product.

Responsibilities

· Study blueprints and pipe fitting symbols with guidance.

· Measuring, cutting, threading, and fittings

· Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety regulations and procedures.

· Inspect and maintain equipment, identifying, and reporting any issues or malfunctions.

Requirements

· Proven experience as a Welder/Fitter.

· Proficient in Stick (Shielded Metal Arc Welding - SMAW) E7018 SMAW process

· Skilled in blueprint reading and interpreting welding symbols.

· Strong understanding of metal properties and their behavior under heat

· Ability to operate and maintain equipment and tools.

· Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity

· Knowledge of safety and quality standards in welding operations

· Cutting with a bevel with torch equipment

· Able to read isometrics.

· Complete hydro testing

· Welding certifications: 1F, 2F, 3F, 4F

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 12 hour shift
• Every weekend
• Monday to Friday
• Morning shift
• Night shift
