The Opportunity: We are seeking a VP of Treasury Management Sales for the Tampa-St. Petersburg, FL area. The VP of Treasury Management Sales will play a key role in driving the growth of business deposits and treasury management services to grow business membership and expand our business client/member base. Lead strategic initiatives to identify new business opportunities, cultivate relationships with prospective clients, foster relationships with our commercial lenders and branch partners, and promote treasury management and core deposit solutions.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute sales and call plans to drive sales growth and expand our business client portfolio.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through targeted prospecting, networking, and relationship-building activities, such as joint calling with lines of business partners.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to business clients, understanding their financial needs and proactively recommending tailored deposit and treasury management solutions and other banking solutions.
  • Collaborate with our commercial lenders to develop comprehensive sales proposals and deliver customized solutions that meet client objectives.
  • Perform consistent, proactive individual and joint calling activities each week with existing clients/members, prospective members, COIs, and business partners.
  • Serve as the partner for our Michigan region branch managers to review client base, uncover opportunities to expand relationships, and deliver business deposit and treasury solutions to those members.
  • Foster strong relationships with existing clients to drive retention and expand wallet share through cross-selling and upselling opportunities in all lines of business.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market developments, and competitor offerings to enhance our treasury management product suite and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Analyze client and prospective client bank statements and determine the right treasury and deposit solutions for each one.
  • Lead client meetings and presentations to showcase the value proposition of our deposit and treasury management services and secure new business opportunities.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics and track progress against targets, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve desired results.
  • Collaborate with and provide support to internal stakeholders, including sales teams, to ensure alignment and effective execution of business development initiatives.
  • Travel for sales, meetings, training, and conferences as required.

What You Need

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance or related field.
  • Seven years treasury sales and business development experience within the financial services industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Deep understanding of treasury management products and services, including cash management, liquidity solutions, and payment processing.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and collaborate with internal lines of business partners and clients.
  • Results-driven and proactive, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
