Position Summary

Dexter is looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Data Entry Specialist. The individual will play a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our company's data by entering, updating, and verifying information in our databases and systems.

More specifically, this position will be responsible for activities including but not limited to the following :

• Input, update, and verify data in the company's databases and information systems.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of data by comparing it with source documents.
• Collaborate with team members to address and resolve data-related issues.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all data entry activities.
• Create and organize electronic and hard copy files as needed.
• Verify the accuracy of data by cross-referencing and validating information.
• Investigate and correct any discrepancies or missing information.
• Follow company policies and procedures related to data security and confidentiality.
• Exercise discretion and caution when handling sensitive information.
• Work closely with other departments to obtain necessary information and ensure data accuracy.
• Communicate effectively with team members to address any data-related issues.

Requirements

• 1 years of data entry experience including proven experience as a data entry specialist or in a similar role.
• Proficient in using MS Excel & MS Teams.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Basic understanding of data security and confidentiality principals.
