6.75 hours per day (subject to change) with unpaid 35-minute lunch period.
Compensation:
$15.41 per hour

Summary: This position will assist Mill Creek Middle School in the lunchroom and provide general support as needed. Performance of this position will be evaluated annually.
Essential Job Functions:
Lunch Room

• Monitor all lunches
• Use lunchroom contact with students to develop positive relationships
• Work with cafeteria staff to ensure cleaning supplies are out for each lunch
• Assist with the clean-up of the cafeteria after each lunch
• Make the lunchroom a safe and inviting place for all students

Building Support

• Make copies for the entire school
• Laminate materials needed for instruction
• Assist students that are sick and injured
• Act as a runner when teachers are not answering their phones for students pick up, etc.
• Provide customer service to parents, students and guests as needed
• Bending, lifting and overhead work required
• Reliable attendance and punctuality to assignment required
• Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

• Candidate must possess a High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Demonstrated ability to work with parents, students and staff
• Computer skills necessary
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Ability to be self-directed and ability to identify and solve problems
• Good attendance important for position and is expected
