Position Summary

• Gathering of materials by deciphering blueprints and shop drawings, using proper material identification, and processing materials
• Proficiency in the proper layout and fitting of job components
• Must be able to read work instructions and other work documents, write production and quality information, understand verbal instructions
• Familiar with automated welding and gauging.
• Ability to distinguish weld quality is a requirement
• Ability to meet or exceed expected output requirements
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Qualified candidates must have a minimum of five years of MIG welding experience. Qualified candidates must be self-motivated and have the ability to work without constant supervision. Must possess a good attendance history. Must have a good safety record, possess a high degree of quality workmanship and be detail oriented. Candidates must be able to stand for extended periods of time. Candidate must pass certified welding assessment.
