About the Position

Dexis is seeking to build out a candidate pool of qualified Assessment, Monitoring, and Evaluation (AM&E) Training and Curriculum Managers to support the development and execution of a framework for identification, training, education, certification, and utilization of the AM&E workforce.

Responsibilities

  • Clarifying what types of coursework would support the attainment of certain AM&E competencies
  • Supporting the socialization of the AM&E competencies, coursework, and certification levels in an effort to identify and support the training of all DoD personnel belonging to the SC AM&E community
  • Support the tracking of progress made toward identifying, training, and certifying members of the SC AM&E community
  • Regularly attend and observe SCU courses (particularly AM&E classes), to provide feedback on how instructors can tie curriculum delivery to current AM&E practice for the authorities listed above
  • Support the development of a process for seeking support from members of the SC workforce to participate in PDAs both virtually and in-country

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5-7 years of experience creating, coordinating, delivering, updating, communicating internally and externally, or overseeing the execution of Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) capacity building and formal training
  • 10 years of experience planning, designing and implementing assessment, monitoring and evaluation programs or projects in the security sector for a department, agency or bureau of the US government, a national organization, an NGO/IGO, the UN, or private industry
  • 3-5 years of experience in Security Cooperation or other areas of the Department of Defense with similar characteristics (i.e. engagement for foreign nationals for the purposes of gaining physical access, strengthening political will, or building capacity);
  • Familiarity with DoDI 5132.14 and DoDI 5132.15
  • Familiarity with DoD Joint Doctrine and DoD Training and Education
  • Active Secret security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

  • 10 years of experience creating, coordinating, delivering, updating, communicating internally and externally, or overseeing the execution of Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) capacity building and formal training
  • 7 years of experience in Security Cooperation or other areas of the Department of Defense with similar characteristics (i.e. engagement for foreign nationals for the purposes of gaining physical access, strengthening political will, or building capacity)
  • Proficient knowledge of DoDI 5132.14 and DoDI 5132.15
  • Prior experience working with DoD Joint Doctrine and DoD Training and Education
  • A master's degree or higher
