Job Title: Logistics Centre Lead/ Specialist

Work Location: Athens GA 30601

Working Schedule: Mon-Fri 6:30 AM- 5:00 PM

Education: High School Diploma

Job Type: Contract 1 year possible conversion

Description:

Manage entire warehouse operations and oversees performance of all tasks involved in the shipment, requisition, and storage of materials, supplies, and equipment into and from warehouse. May include the coordination of material flow within a manufacturing organization and shipping and receiving.

This position is for a lead Logistics technician who is under minimal supervision.

• Leads lower-level staff in activities related to handling and maintaining the flow of materials and products according to established guidelines.
• Analyses material usage, including scrap rate and repair history, minimum stock, and pool quantity calculation accordingly to fulfil production requirements.
• Leads in orienting, training, assigning, and checking the work of business support employees. May serve as a resource on varied tasks.
