Job Title: MongoDB Database Admin / Engineer

Location: 100% REMOTE

Duration: 6 months (CONTRACT TO HIRE)

Skills & Experience Needed:

• MongoDB administration, Database Administration, Querying, NoSQL database knowledge
• Cloud experience (Atlas)
• Schema design and query tuning
• Mongo DB Certification

Description & Responsibilities:

• Upgrade, install and maintain Mongo Ops manager
• Maintain and manage Mongo atlas(cloud) deployments
• Apply MongoDB Security with Enterprise version including setting up SSL and LDAP
• Install/configure/upgrade/patch/maintain MongoDB replica and sharded clusters
• Provide guidance and support to Application Developers
• Assist with schema design and query tuning
• Proactively and regularly make recommendations for system improvements
• Work on integrating MongoDB Atlas with Snowflake and Splunk.
• Participate in the team scrum ceremonies
• Complete the stories assigned during a sprint

• Automation Scripts (Python, Cron jobs)
• Linux server
• Kafka
