Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, preparing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Mix and garnish cocktails according to recipes or customer preferences
- Check customers' identification and confirm legal drinking age
- Assess customers' needs and preferences and make recommendations
- Upsell drink and food items to maximize revenue
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Handle cash transactions, operate the point-of-sale (POS) system, and process payments accurately
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a smooth and efficient operation
- Assist with opening and closing duties as required
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a bartender or in a similar role
- Knowledge of various drink recipes and mixology techniques
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and outgoing personality
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating tips
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus
- Must be at least 21 years old (or legal drinking age in the respective country)
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects (e.g., kegs)
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
