Dewberry is seeking a responsible, highly motivated, and detail oriented individual to join our structures department in Rancho Cordova, CA as a Structural Engineer.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be part of a team performing the structural design of water, wastewater, and storm water treatment and purveying structures as well as support buildings using applicable software and design standards (ACI, AISC, CBC, IBC, AWWA). These facilities will primarily be concrete, masonry, steel, and timber construction. The candidate will also be involved in the development of contract plans, calculations , and performing construction support services.

Required Skills & Required Experience

• California EIT required
• California PE encouraged

Familiar with the following design codes:

• California Building Code (CBC)
• American Concrete Institute (ACI) 318 and 350
• American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC)
• Concrete Masonry Association of California and Nevada (CMACN)
• National Design Specification (NDS) Design Values for Wood Construction

This position is ideal for a candidate looking to expand their technical skills on fun and interesting projects and have the upward mobility potential to advance their career.

The projected range for this position is $90,000-$120,000 annually. Depending upon other factors, i.e., skills, experience, location, market conditions, the range may vary slightly.
