The Role.

As our LIHTC Property Manager you have the opportunity to balance world class customer service with managing the financial aspects to run a successful property. The community is located in Dallas, approximately 240 units. We are looking to hire someone who is extremely knowledgeable, with impeccable work attendance records, a strong drive to succeed, and willing to wear any hat.

Bilingual candidates strongly encouraged to apply due to a heavy Spanish-speaking resident base on this property.

This job requires experience working on a LIHTC property. Candidates will be queried on their experience.

Responsibilities and Duties

The Key Responsibilities.

• Facilitate rent and delinquency collections, accommodate resident requests, and coordinate resident functions
• Complile reports, resident feedback, and market research
• Thorough understanding and accurate completion of month end accounting
• Coordinate and participate in revenue driven leasing and marketing activities
• Express world class customer service while leading resident activities
• Follow a system for effective follow-up with prospective residents through online and telephone leads
• Assure leasing packets and legal documents are completed accurately
• Monitor and control expenses
• Budget preparation and adherance
• Maintain high occupancy
• Work with maintenance to ensure that work is completed in a timely manner and also to ensure that after hours emergencies are being handled in a timely manner.
• Regularly inspect physical property to ensure property is well taken care of and clean.

Qualifications and Skills

The Basics.

• Possess basic bookkeeping knowledge and perform intermediate mathematical functions
• Understanding of current landlord tenant requirements and general legal responsibilities of the property
• Exceptional organizational skills and extreme attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• 3 plus years recent experience as an Apartment Community Manager

Job Type: Full-time-expected to begin mid-September

Pay range $45,000-$50,000 annually depending on length of experience.

Must have valid driver's license.

Must be able to pass background screening and drug screening.
