Responsibilities:

• Accurately complete assigned tasks on repair orders with efficiency, adhering to manufacturer and dealership standards.
• Test-drive vehicles and assess components and systems using specialized diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair various vehicle systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning.
• Maintain clear and direct communication with the Service Advisor to ensure customers are promptly informed about any additional services required, along with an estimated completion time for repairs.
• Perform warranty repairs in strict accordance with manufacturer specifications.

Qualifications:

• Experience in a Subaru dealership is preferred, but not required.
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Service Technician including diagnostics, electrical systems and engine repair; ASE Certification is preferred.
• Proficient mechanical skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues and operate advanced electronic diagnostic equipment.
• Strong sense of responsibility, integrity, and professional conduct
• Positive and friendly demeanor, with a keen interest in continuous professional development.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
• Effective team player with strong collaboration skills.
• Excellent manual dexterity, steady hands, and superb hand-eye coordination.
• Eagerness to master new technologies, repair techniques, and service procedures.
• Consistent work history, valid driver’s license, and a minimum of high school diploma or equivalent
• Must pass pre-employment screenings (background check and drug test)
