Job Description:

Devine Place Apartments is seeking a skilled and reliable Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the physical integrity of the community, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for residents and visitors.

Responsibilities:

• General Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including painting, plumbing, electrical repairs, and HVAC system maintenance.
• Appliance Repair: Diagnose and repair household appliances such as refrigerators, stoves, and microwaves.
• Plumbing: Address minor plumbing issues such as leaks, clogs, and water heater maintenance.
• Electrical: Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues, including light fixtures, outlets, and circuit breakers.
• HVAC: Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
• Carpentry: Perform basic carpentry tasks, including repairing doors, windows, and cabinetry.
• Groundskeeping: Maintain the exterior of the property, including landscaping, trash removal, and general cleanliness.
• Emergency Response: Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and ensure timely resolution of issues.
• Preventative Maintenance: Implement preventative maintenance programs to reduce the likelihood of future issues.
• Resident Relations: Interact professionally with residents, addressing their maintenance concerns and providing excellent customer service.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in apartment maintenance or a similar field.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance practices.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor.
