Devine Law Group, PLLC is Hiring a Paralegal Near Lexington, KY

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Family Law Paralegal to join our team. The Family Law Paralegal will provide support to attorneys by conducting legal research, preparing legal documents, including but not limited to Petitions, Responses, Motions, Financial Disclosures, etc., and assisting with administrative tasks. The ideal candidate will have strong research and organizational skills, as well as a thorough understanding of family law procedures.

Duties:
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases
- Assist attorneys in preparing legal documents
- Review and analyze documents for accuracy and completeness
- Organize and maintain case files and other legal documents, particularly financial disclosures and other discovery documents
- Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in legal proceedings
- Schedule appointments, meetings, mediations, etc.
- Prepare correspondence and communicate with clients on behalf of attorneys
- Assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and witness statements
- Perform general clerical duties, such as answering phones, filing documents, and managing calendars

Skills:
- Strong research skills to gather relevant information for cases
- Proficiency in clerical tasks to assist with administrative duties
- Knowledge of Family Law procedures
- Excellent organizational skills to maintain case files and manage deadlines
- Attention to detail to review documents for accuracy and completeness
- Effective communication skills to interact with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in legal proceedings
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Excel, is required, familiarity with legal billing software and Quickbooks is a plus

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or related field preferred
- Previous experience as a Paralegal or in a similar role is highly desirable
- Knowledge of Family Law
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently under pressure

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $35,000.00 per year
