Overview:
The Leading Digital Agency in Richmond is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Windows Server Field Engineer to join their team. This individual will be responsible for providing complex technical services to the agency's reputable clients in and around the Richmond area. The ideal candidate will have a valid license and their own reliable vehicle to travel to client sites.
Key Responsibilities:
The Leading Digital Agency in Richmond is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Windows Server Field Engineer to join their team. This individual will be responsible for providing complex technical services to the agency's reputable clients in and around the Richmond area. The ideal candidate will have a valid license and their own reliable vehicle to travel to client sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 3rd line technical support to clients in the field, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of hardware, software, and network systems
- Conduct regular on-site visits to clients to assess and resolve technical issues and provide proactive maintenance and support
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, ensuring timely and effective communication and resolution of technical issues
- Collaborate with 1st and 2nd line support teams to escalate and resolve complex technical issues
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all client interactions and technical solutions
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems for clients, including servers, workstations, and network equipment
- Keep up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends to provide clients with innovative and efficient solutions
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including maintaining client confidentiality and following security protocols
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years previous experience working as a Field Engineer in the IT industry
- Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle for travel to client sites
- Extensive knowledge of various hardware, software, and network systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation
- Experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Relevant certifications and qualifications are a plus
- Own laptop and stable internet connection
