DescriptionThe Transfer Driver will shuttle trucks from branch to branch or from branch to customer on an on-call, as needed, basis. Adherence to DOT regulations and safety protocol is required. Essential ResponsibilitiesJob duties include inspecting the truck for mechanical issues, filling out paperwork, communicating with a dispatcher, and This job requires a valid truck driver’s license for the specific type of truck. RequirementsQualifications:
Experience working alone.
Communication skills.
Ability to complete paperwork correctly.
Ability to complete pre and post trip truck inspections.
Ability to Shuttle trucks from Branch to Branch or Branch to customer
Ability to follow all DOT regulations and safety protocols.
Computer Skills
Navigation skills/GPS
Basic mobile phone skills including text messaging and email.
Basic tablet/computer skills such a web browsing and email.
Certificates and Registrations
Relevant driver's license.
High School Diploma or its equivalent.
Physical Demands
Ability to load and unload fright if needed.
Pre-employment physical, drug screen, and eye exam.
Ability to sit for long periods of time.
