Job Summary:

Devenir Supports is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Job Coach. Our organization is focused on providing support services for at-risk adults and/or juveniles with intellectual disabilities, who may also have various medical issues. As a Job Coach, you will play a vital role in helping these individuals achieve independence and success in the workplace. You will be responsible for providing employment services, including job search planning, job development, negotiation, and post-employment support.

Responsibilities:

• Provide critical daily support services
• Support people with disabilities in community settings
• Tracking progress on goals and filling out paperwork
• Transporting clients to appointments or hanging out with them at the company office
• Community outings
• Be willing to work 1 Saturday a month
• Attend all company trainings
• Performing other duties as necessary
• Help with on the job training

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years old (required for transporting clients)
• Driver’s License
• Reliable vehicle and proof of insurance
• Use personal vehicle, when necessary, to transport clients (We pay for mileage from the client’s home and back)
• Must pass a background check

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
