Developmental Specialty Partners is a leading ABA practice in San Luis Obispo that offers a wide range of services, including ABA therapy, social skills training, caregiver training, and world-class care.

In this role, you will:

• Receive specialized training to deliver transformative care to children with diverse developmental conditions
• Have long term career opportunities with excellent growth potential.
• Facilitate our early learner program, preparing children with autism and similar conditions for school and community settings
• Teach children communication, social, and self-help skills in a small group setting
• Collect data to monitor the progress of the children we support
• Work alongside a talented and creative team RBTs, rBAs and BCBAs

Requirements

• 6 school units in early childhood education (preferred)
• Experience teaching children (preferred)
• Skilled in identifying problems and brainstorming potential solutions
• Excellent at written and oral communication, and presentation
• Comfortable working independently and collaboratively
• Qualified with a degree in early childhood education, child development or educational leadership
• Basic computer skills
• Bilingual (Spanish) (preferred)
• Candidate must be able to lift up to 10 pounds, sit, and run as needed.
• Valid driver’s license, reliable source of transportation, and auto insurance
• Must pass a criminal background check (Livescan DOJ & FBI)
• Current TB clearance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• work with autistic children: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• 6 early childhood education units (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

• Cambria, CA (Required)
