We provide comprehensive onboarding, training, and support every day from the minute you join our team, whether as a Behavior Technician (BT) or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)!

In this role, you will:

  • Receive specialized training to deliver transformative care to children with diverse developmental conditions
  • Provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to clients in a center-based or home-based setting (paid training provided)
  • Teach clients with autism, communication, social, and self-help skills in an individual or small group setting
  • Collect data to monitor the progress of the children we support
  • Provide regular written and verbal progress on treatment goals
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures, including, but not limited to, confidentiality and mandated reporting standards
  • Communicate clearly and effectively – both orally and written – with clients, families, and colleagues
  • Attend meetings and trainings to acquire further knowledge
  • Receive daily guidance and mentorship from a team of experts including Pediatric Psychiatrists, Speech-Language Pathologists, and Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)

Requirements

  • High school diploma (required)
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred)
  • Located near San Luis Obispo, CA
  • Candidate must be able to lift up to 10 pounds, sit, and run as needed.
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable source of transportation, and auto insurance
  • Must pass a criminal background check (Livescan DOJ & FBI)
  • Current TB clearance

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
