Description

Developmental Pathways (DP) has an opportunity for a Graphic Designer in our Communications and Marketing Department. This role will support the Digital Creative Lead in developing design concepts across multiple channels and will help teams across the organization with various design needs. This position will work on numerous campaigns/projects, including designing for our website, emails, flyers, social media, and marketing collateral. We are looking for a motivated, collaborative, and passionate designer to help drive our marketing efforts.

This a full-time 36-hour week, hybrid position, working remotely and coming into our headquarters office in Aurora, CO, and/or other offsite locations as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two (2) years of graphic design or related experience
  • Strong project management skills, organizational skills, and time management skills
  • Working knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles
  • Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout
  • Understanding of marketing strategy and ability to execute strategy with design solutions
  • Proficient with industry-standard Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and/or InDesign), Canva, Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, and related business and communications tools
  • Must provide portfolio showing print and digital design work demonstrating understanding of design principles for consideration
  • Personal vehicle in good operating condition for use during work as appropriate
  • Valid Colorado motor vehicle license and proof of motor vehicle insurance
  • Ability to meet our driving requirements - no suspensions/ no more than two tickets in the past three years

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design or a related field or equivalent work experience
  • Front-end web and email development experience
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and WordPress
  • Experience in video creation or editing
  • Working knowledge of the disability field, the community/resources, and populations served

Qualifications


Additional Responsibilities

  • Create design concepts and execute them across print and digital media campaigns, including but not limited to email, flyers, brochures, marketing collateral, and branding materials
  • Develop artwork and visual elements for the company website and social media campaigns
  • Assist with the design and maintenance of our website using WordPress
  • Translate complex information into simplified infographics
  • Support the Communication and Marketing team in ensuring branding guidelines are followed and upheld across the organization
  • Collaborates closely with the Digital Creative Lead and communications and marketing team to support other internal departments on projects and design needs
  • Takes ownership of projects and organizes workflow efficiently
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and adjust designs to meet evolving objectives/needs
  • Participate in brainstorming and planning to generate new ideas across department
  • Edit video and assist with occasional photo shoots as needed
