Job Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Shared Living Provider to join our team. As a Shared Living Provider, you will provide care and support to individuals with diverse needs in your home. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

Responsibilities:

- Provide direct care and support to individuals in a shared living setting

- Assist with daily activities, including meal preparation, medication management, and personal hygiene

- Implement behavior management strategies to promote positive interactions and independence

- Ensure the rights and dignity of the individual are respected at all times

- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, such as nurses, to coordinate medical care and support

- Create a safe and nurturing environment for residents

- Assist with transportation to appointments or community activities

- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided

Skills:

- Strong understanding of behavior management techniques

- Knowledge of resident rights and advocacy

- Experience in childcare or caregiving roles

- Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)

- Familiarity with patient care, including hospice care if applicable

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Compassionate and patient demeanor
