Position Overview

Development Solutions, Inc., a full service General Contracting firm with local offices in Chicago and Oak Brook, IL. seeks an experienced Construction Project Accountant to join its growing team and to assist in the daily activities of client billings, project receivables, vendor reconciliation and payments, and compliance tasks in the areas of insurance and contracts.

• Located in Oak Brook, we are seeking individuals with a minimum 2 years of construction accounting experience, to be successful, these candidates must exhibit the communication & technical skills needed along with the proper work ethic and desire to work in a team environment. Experience in the areas of contract and insurance compliance a plus.

• Sworn Contractor Statements
• G702 / 703 Invoicing
• Waivers of Liens
• Accounts Receivable application
• Subcontractor and Vendor payments
• Understanding of Contracts & Compliance requirements
• Understanding of Insurance & Compliance requirements

Job Specific Competencies and Requirements:

• Ability to multi-task
• Competent in the following software programs:
• Microsoft Word & Excel Microsoft Outlook
• Vista by Viewpoint (preferred) or similar
