Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatric Technician to join our team. As a Psychiatric Technician, you will play a crucial role in providing care and support to patients with mental health conditions. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the implementation of treatment plans and ensure the safety and well-being of patients.

Duties:
- Assist in the assessment and evaluation of patients' mental health conditions
- Monitor and document patients' behaviors, progress, and vital signs
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Assist in the implementation of treatment plans, including individual and group therapy sessions
- Provide emotional support and encouragement to patients
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and modify treatment plans
- Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for patients
- Assist in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques when necessary
- Participate in educational activities to enhance knowledge and skills in psychiatric care

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training as a Psychiatric Technician is preferred
- Proven experience working in a psychiatric or mental health setting is highly desirable
- Knowledge of mental health disorders, treatments, and therapeutic interventions
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Compassionate and empathetic approach towards patients with mental health conditions
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards
