Overview

We are seeking a Scrum Master to join our Accounting Domain team in Cary. The role will coach a Feature team as well as other teams and stakeholders to foster Agile ways of thinking and working. We’re looking for someone to coach teams to explore their potential, improve awareness of the Agile mindset, and encourage experimentation using new ways of working and interacting.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Coach your teams. Help them maximize their value creation and learning, encourage short feedback loops with end users and stakeholders
• Leverage your Scrum knowledge to help your team develop a strong understanding of the Scrum framework and where appropriate support learning in other ways of working
• Foster cross-team communication, trust and psychological safety
• Apply the right stances and facilitation techniques to support your team’s changing needs and environments
• Coach the Product Owner on backlog refinement and prioritization techniques, stakeholder communication and help them maximize the value of the team
• Offer guidance on how to remove blockers and impediments and, if necessary, provide direct assistance when needed to resolve quickly
• Act as a change agent to help the whole organization embrace business agility through coaching, mentoring and teaching
• Play an active role in the Scrum Master community of practice and leverage your understanding of Scrum, Kanban and Agile leadership to support other CoPs across the bank

Your Skills and Experience:

• Knowledge of facilitation techniques and coaching stances
• Understanding of the SDLC and multiple frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban
• Experience working with distributed teams as part of a larger group / release train
• Apply tools to promote healthy discussions within and between teams
• Ability to work independently as a change agent to identify impediments and opportunities
• Relevant training as a facilitator, coach or Scrum Master (A-CSM, PSM II etc.)
• Familiarity with Atlassian tools
