Destiny Foods, Inc., a franchise of 24 Subway locations is seeking a Maintenance Technician to handle maintenance issues at their locations located in South Austin, North Austin, NE Austin, and NW Austin, with the majority of restaurants located outside of the Austin area. The standard work week may vary depending on the restaurant needs and the employee may be called upon outside of normal working hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

This individual will be a technician responsible for maintenance and repair calls which might include minor repairs including painting, drywall, carpentry (light framing, trim, etc.), plumbing, trouble shooting, restaurant equipment diagnosis and repairs, and assistance with setting up new locations or closing out locations. Besides your skill set, general appearance and personality are very important for this position as you will engage with employees and customers.

Responsibilities

• Take calls as needed from restaurants to make immediate repairs to keep the restaurant functioning to meet customer demands
• Need to diagnose, resolve, or fix maintenance issues on the spot seek additional outside vendor assistance for major repairs
• Produce quality work to reduce additional work or expenses to equipment and restaurants
• General knowledge and experience with \, plumbing, HVAC, drywall, painting, and carpentry.
• Identify potential maintenance issues before they occur to reduce expenses with more serious repairs
• Maximize equipment efficiencies and assist in cost reductions methods by providing ideas preventable measures, and predictive maintenance issues
• Complete accurate and timely documentation of maintenance records
