Position Overview:

The Warehouse and Event Logistics Technician position works in tandem with the event warehouse team including but not limited to the duties listed below, as well as any other responsibilities required directly by the Warehouse and Event Logistics Manager and Director.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Maintain warehouse in an organized and presentable manner.
• Document and report items concerning transportation, damages, supplies needed for packing vehicles and inventory changes.
• Follow safety procedures and assist with enforcement of safety activities.
• Set-up office demos
• Maintain equipment, props, and furniture.
• Retain and generate up-to-date vehicle logs, refueling, and daily vehicle reports.
• Maintain weekly trucking event order board of events.
• Inspect truck conditions or equipment, for repairs or replacements.
• Pull and deliver décor items for studio
• Adhere to timelines and event loads
• Properly label all event trucks and ensure event orders are assigned a number
• Assist with pick-up/return of rental items
• Work set-up and load-outs as necessary
• Inspect to ensure all items on event orders are loaded efficiently and securely
• Remain polite and cooperative with management, crew members, and vendors
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Warehouse Manager.

Qualifications

DESIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & QUALIFICATIONS:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be a minimum 18 years of age with six months of warehouse/ or event logistics experience.
• Ability to work successfully and solve problems in a deadline-driven environment where multitasking is commonplace
• Excellent interpretive skills on a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, and schedule.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
• Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities.
• Warehouse experience: 1 year (Preferred)
• forklift operation: 2 years (Preferred)
• On-call/Part-Time, shifts will vary based on business needs
• Ability to work a day shift, night shift, overtime, holidays, weekends, and a flexible schedule
