Regional Sales Manager Tour Time 

Remote Position based in Brisbane/ Gold Coast

Due to some exciting developments we are now looking fora Regional Sales Manager to join our team to develop new business for Tour Time & inspiresport throughout Australia. This key role will be responsible for managing relationships from initial contact through to implementation, ensuring excellence in customer service & delivery at every stage. This will involve you working closely with internal stakeholders including Marketing and Operations as you introduce new businesses and grow our client base.

No two days are the same in our team, but on a typical day you will

  • Generate recurring business through promotional & selling activities to clients throughout Australia 
  • Identify sales prospects, the development of customer interest and the preparation of quotes, including managing the bid process, and monitoring of the sale of any tour in a dedicated region of Australia. 
  • Take responsibility for growing your own sales pipelines, and pitching and presenting to win new business
  • Consistently reviewing your sales funnel ensuring there are enough prospects for conversion throughout the year
  • Identify new clients and implement a business development plan to ensure success
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key school’s, clubs, colleges & universities 
  • Develop and maintain a strong relationship with our operations team, 3rd party suppliers, professional partner clubs and governing bodies; attending supplier and promotional events as required
  • Promote excellent customer service throughout the customer journey to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
  • Assist the operations team in the effective delivery of our tours

To be successful within this role, our ideal candidate will:

  • Have extensive experience working within the school’s travel or sports travel sector
  • Be sales focused with a desire to learn and develop your skills
  • Possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Be confident and keen to develop your presentation skills
  • Be self motivated and be able to manage your own time effectively
  • Have a desire to succeed in a competitive environment and work to targets
  • Possess a good eye for detail
  • Have a passion for sport and travel
  • Possess first-hand knowledge of some of the key destinations would be desirable such as Europe, South Africa, North America, and the Caribbean
  • Be able to create and deliver accurate costing proposals to the client in a timely fashion
  • Must be able to travel regularly both domestically and internationally
  • Able to work remotely and use own initiative to meet deadlines
