Job Description:

Summary: Destination Baby Co is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cleaning and Gear Preparation Specialist to join our team at our warehouse location. This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our baby gear, preparing outgoing orders for rental, and inventory management in the warehouse.

Schedule: Five days per week for 2-3 hour shifts. Time of day is flexible. Preferred schedule with Wednesday and Saturday as days off.

Key Responsibilities:

Cleaning and Sanitizing: Clean, sanitize, and inspect baby gear items between rentals, ensuring they meet our high-quality standards.

Gear Preparation: Inspect gear items to prepare them for outgoing orders. Perform quality checks to ensure equipment is safe and in excellent condition.

Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate records of equipment, report any damaged or missing items, and restock as needed.

Warehouse Organization: Keep the warehouse clean and organized, ensuring all equipment is stored properly and efficiently.

Compliance: Adhere to all safety, cleanliness, and maintenance protocols to ensure the safety and satisfaction of our customers.

Qualifications:

• This is a labor intensive position. Physical ability to lift and move heavy baby gear items.
• Previous experience in cleaning or maintenance is preferred.
• Experience handling baby gear preferred.
• Detail-oriented and committed to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license (if involved in gear deliveries).

Working Conditions:

• Work primarily within the warehouse environment.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
