We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Relief Veterinarian to join our team at our Richmond, Virginia location. We offer competitive pay and a great team atmosphere. This is a full-time position and requires a doctor of veterinary medicine (DVM) degree. We are looking for candidates with 0 to 10 years of work experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide veterinary medical care and treatment for our patients in a compassionate and professional manner.
• Perform physical examinations, diagnostic tests, and surgeries as needed.
• Educate clients on preventative healthcare, nutrition, and proper pet care.
• Stay up to date on the latest advancements in veterinary medicine.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records for each patient.
• Prescribe medications, vaccines, and treatments as necessary.
• Provide emergency care for our patients as needed.
• Communicate with clients and other medical staff in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree.
• 0 - 10 years of work experience.
• Licensed to practice veterinary medicine in Virginia.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in veterinary software.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
