Full Time Relief Veterinarian - Urgent Care - Austin, Texas

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Full Time Relief Veterinarian to join our team in Austin, Texas. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing the highest quality medical care to all patients, while also delivering excellent client service. The successful candidate must be a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) and have a minimum of 0 to 10 years of experience as a Veterinarian or Associate Veterinarian.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide medical care to all animals, including examinations, diagnostics, treatments, and euthanasia.
• Perform minor and major surgical procedures.
• Develop individualized treatment plans for each patient.
• Prescribe and administer medications.
• Assist in the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions.
• Perform laboratory testing and interpret results.
• Provide emergency care, as needed.
• Educate pet owners on the care and treatment of their pet.
• Keep accurate patient records and maintain medical charts.
• Provide excellent customer service in a professional and courteous manner.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree.
• Minimum of 0 to 10 years of experience as a Veterinarian or Associate Veterinarian.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Highly organized, with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
• Compassionate and caring attitude towards all patients.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
