Design3 Studio is a small dynamic architecture firm that focuses on custom residential design, multi-family and light commercial projects. We are seeking a confident, creative, self-starter to join our team. This individual must be comfortable working through all the challenges from code analysis, design development, to answering city comments and acquiring a construction permit.
Our firm is a small family vibe, so chemistry is important. We have a laid back attitude but we know how to kick it into high gear when the work intensity picks up. Full time or Part time is available.
Must Have’s:
- 5 years of work experience in creating construction documents (required)
- At least 3 years of work experience in Autocad. We use Autocad-Architecture
Responsibilities:
-Take conceptual sketches/drawings and develop floor plans and elevations
- Create construction documents, including dimension plans, door/window schedules etc.
- Respond to City building department comments to obtain permit drawings
-Other responsibilities as needed and depending on experience
Qualifications:
- Able to work efficiently without direct supervision on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- 3D rendering and photoshop a plus
