**Photographer**
at Design Within Reach Stamford, CT Miller Knoll Retail is looking for a Product Photographer to join our Marketing and Creative Operations team at our in-house studio in Stamford, CT. This role will report directly to the Director of Marketing and Creative Operations with a main focus on silo photography of furniture and accessories across our family of brands. In partnership with an art director, content producers and prop manager the role will
meet daily productivity levels producing both photography and videography of all categories of merchandise to the highest quality standards. The studio is a well-equipped, fast-paced environment with a strong focus on deadlines.
**Responsibilities**
Shoot silo photography of various product daily, meeting or exceeding daily productivity levels
Shoot product detail videos when requested
Ensure all imagery meets high quality and print and digital standards
Ensure lighting and camera equipment is set to MillerKnoll standards
Execute QC (quality control) of all work before uploading to Asset Manager including naming, cropping, and color processing
Ensuring workflows and processes are properly followed
Pilot new processes and initiatives and provide feedback to ensure successful implementation
Time management on set and oversight of crew including Digital Techs and Stylists, when applicable
Support Manager and Lead with maintenance and organization of studio space and equipment
Partner with manager to find efficiencies and improvements in workflows and processes
Support training of junior staff
Scheduling testing opportunities to build upon technical skills
**Skills & Abilities:**
2 - 5 years as a product photographer
Degree or diploma in photography or related field
Knowledge of photographic techniques such as lighting and composition
Ability to work efficiently within deadlines, stay organized and increase productivity
Demonstrates strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds of equipment
Website or portfolio of still life photography with emphasis on product
Skilled with Adobe CC programs, with emphasis on Adobe Photoshop
Well versed in Mac OS and Microsoft Office
Strong ability to demonstrate leadership skills
Self-driven and optimistic problem solver who is able to easily communicate creative ideas and collaborate in a team environment
