DSI is a rapidly expanding company with over one hundred employees and has the following divisions – Automation, UL Panel Shop, Fabrication and Electrical. We are looking for self-motivated, assertive, dependable individuals.
As a Journeyman Electrician with DSI you will be working for a leading and electrical-integration firm in the United States. You will configure and wire various brands of AC/DC controllers and VFDs. Using electrical schematics, you will design, bend and fill conduit to proper code specifications. You will be working outdoors.
Job Summary:
- Must be a self-started and able to work with minimal supervision.
- Experience with measuring, threading, bending, and running rigid conduit.
- Must be able to wire 120v, 240v, 480v and low voltage systems.
- Must have knowledge of instrumentation
- Must have knowledge of PLC/control panel wiring
- Must have knowledge of reading of electrical cad drawings
- Capable of mentoring and training newer electricians.
- Knowledge of current NEC Codes.
- Other job duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Licensed Journeyman in the state of Texas
- Must be able to understand information from plans, drawings, and specifications.
- Driver License is required.
- Must speak English
- Knowledge of Computers (Microsoft Excel and Word) is a plus
