Design Interactive is Hiring a Research Associate I/II Near Orlando, FL
- Capture, summarize, and share key moments of discussion and decision making for relevant project meetings and activities
- Assist in preparing technical reports, summaries and quantitative analyses of assigned research projects.
- Research literature related to specific projects or proposals.
- Contribute to writing manuscripts for publications and the development of bid proposals (e.g. tables, charts, figures).
- Support research and end user evaluations of interactive systems/product concepts, analyze data, and document evaluation methods
- Lead internal meetings and day-to-day activities for assigned projects (user stories, backlog grooming, coordinating with development teams, etc.)
- Communicate project status and related concerns and issues to program managers, including project schedules, proposals, risk mitigation and transition plans.
- Translate user needs into detailed requirements specifications and design documents.
- Plan and conduct research and end user evaluations of interactive systems/product concepts, analyze data, and document evaluation methods.
- Support research with minimal guidance and assimilate results.
- Perform or assist with any assignments as required.
- Requires excellent oral and written communication skills
- Requires excellent planning and organizational skills
- Work autonomously in a structured team and provide technical guidance in area of expertise/study
- Background in research and development techniques, such as determining end user behavior and preferences, design, statistical data analysis, and integrating requirement specifications into key documents
- Requires proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office including, but not limited to word processing, spreadsheet design and maintenance, and creating presentations
Position may require a moderate amount of local, overnight and extended travel to support research program requirements.
