Wise Foods Inc. is currently seeking a Staff Accountant at our Berwick, PA location. This person will prepare, analyze, and reconcile all portions of P&L and balance sheets within IFRS and budgetary guidelines to ensure accurate monthly reporting.

RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to:

• Analyze, collect, comply, and evaluate financial data
• Assist in monthly compilation of company financial statements including journal entry preparation.
• Provides outside auditors with assistance; gathers necessary account information and documents to perform annual audit
• Complete vouchers/purchase orders/receipts

• Maintains knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and procedures
• Performs other related duties as assigned

QUALIFIED CANDIDATES have the following:

• Associate's Degree in Accounting
• Experience with General Ledger accounting, accounts payable and account reconciliation
• Intermediate experience with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)

IDEAL CANDIDATES also have the following:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• Experience working in JD Edwards software
