About the Role: As a Designer II, you'll be an integral part of our project team, contributing your skills and talents to every phase of the design process. You'll have the opportunity to work closely with experienced mentors who will guide you in building a well-rounded skillset and achieving your professional goals. Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with our design studio to achieve project goals and deliver exceptional results.
  • Create compelling digital color boards for presentations that showcase our design concepts effectively.
  • Develop design narratives based on thorough research and analysis in collaboration with our team.
  • Stay informed about new vendors and products to ensure our design solutions are innovative and unique.
  • Assist in selecting furniture and finishes, pulling together materials for review by our internal design team.
  • Build engaging digital design presentations for client and brand review, utilizing your creativity and technical skills.
  • Generate 3D design studies and solutions that bring our concepts to life and help clients visualize their spaces.
  • Write detailed FF E specifications to ensure accurate procurement of materials and products.
  • Collaborate with our team on ID drawing sets and coordinate design solutions with vendors and consultants.
  • Support project site visits and installations, ensuring our designs are implemented successfully.
  • Prepare design solutions that comply with local building codes and ADA guidelines, prioritizing safety, and accessibility.
  • Maintain a comprehensive resource library to support our design studio's ongoing projects.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Associate Degree in Interior Design may be considered based on professional experience.
  • Minimum of one internship in a design-related role.
  • 3-5 years of professional experience, with a preference for candidates with single-family experience.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit for precise drafting and modeling.
  • Experience with SketchUp, particularly with the Enscape plug-in, to create immersive 3D visualizations.
  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Photoshop for creating captivating design presentations.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word and Excel, for document creation and organization.
  • Ability to write detailed FF E specifications to guide procurement processes.
  • Bachelor’s degree in fine arts: Interior Design, or equivalent field.
