Job Description

• Overhead crane technicians travel to customer production facilities to inspect, troubleshoot, repair and modify electric overhead bridge cranes and related material handling equipment.

• Knowledge and understanding of structural, mechanical and electrical systems related to overhead bridge cranes is required.

• Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of experience servicing overhead bridge cranes. Overhead crane technicians must communicate complicated technical issues to customers and must have strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Candidate must be willing to travel and work in production environments. Clear driving record and background check required as company vehicle operation is part of the job.

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Extended hours
• On call
• Overtime
• Rotating weekends
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• 480V electrical: 3 years (Required)
• Overhead Crane Maintenance: 1 year (Required)
• Mechanical troubleshooting: 1 year (Required)
• Electrical troubleshooting: 1 year (Required)
• Motor Controls: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
