Desert Oasis Healthcare is Hiring an IT Project Manager Near Palm Springs, CA

The IT Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, implementation, and completion of IT projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The IT Project Manager is responsible for coordinating the efforts of a cross-functional team, communicating with stakeholders, and managing resources efficiently.
  • Obtain detailed project requirements from key stakeholders to gain a clear understanding of the project scope and purpose.
  • Define project scope, quality standards, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop detailed project plans outlining tasks, timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify project risks and develop risk mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitate regular project meetings with key stakeholders, project team members, and management team to discuss project progress, status, challenges, issues and/or risks.
  • Build and lead cross-functional project teams based on the scope and need of each project.
  • Set priorities and deadlines for project tasks and assign tasks to project team members. Ensure that each project team member has a clear understanding of their role and assigned tasks.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive team environment.
  • Allocate resources appropriately to meet project goals.
  • Monitor and manage project budgets to ensure that financial objectives are met.
  • Conduct regular quality reviews to ensure adherence to standards.
  • Proactively address issues and obstacles that may impact project success.
  • Monitor project progress to ensure that project remains on track with established timelines. Identify issues, obstacles and/or challenges that are impacting or may impact project success and progress.
  • Address identified issues, challenges, obstacles in a timely manner.
  • Implement project changes and adjustments as needed.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, Business Administration, or closely related field.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, preferred.
  • 5 years of experience as an IT Project Manager or similar role.
  • Knowledge of IT systems, technologies, and methodologies.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with individuals within all levels of Management, providers, vendors and others.
  • Ability to utilize project management tools and software.
  • Ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to utilize analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail oriented and organizational skills. Ability to manage time effectively to meet established deadlines.
  • Current California driver's license and proof of auto insurance.
  • At the discretion of DOHC/FHC management, this position has the potential to be a full or hybrid telecommuting position.
